Reading Program
The Reading Program is a cherished United Women in Faith tradition that brings together members in mission as they explore, share and discuss the books.
To participate, select one of our four plans and start reading! From captivating novels and heartfelt biographies to urgent messages about issues such as climate change and mass incarceration, there’s something for everyone.
Mission Giving
Through their generosity United Women in Faith members help empower and improve the lives of women, youth and children in the United States and around the world.
About 70 percent of Mission Giving funds from members go to programs and projects supporting women, children and youth. Around 20-30 percent stays with the local, district, and conference organizations of United Women in Faith for local mission. Only 9 percent covers administrative costs.
Prayer Calendar
The Prayer Calendar explores light—the experience of God’s light shining on and through us. It uses words and images to bear witness to
God’s light and to dramatize the various ways in which holy light brightens our individual and corporate dark places. The prayers here help us to shine light on situations and sorrows in our world, challenging us to expose abuse and evil that leave many people in shadows of despair and fear.
